Who is TexelBol ?

History

The flower bulb company Texelbol was founded in the fifties of the last century by Sieme Zijm sr. at the Rommelpot 15, 1797 RN Den Hoorn Texel.

In the seventies of the last century this flower bulb company was taken over by his son PietZijm. Today he and his wife Margot Bik are still running this company.

Frans Bik, the father of Margot Bik, made beautiful cross overs between several Tulips, which ended in very beautiful new tulip breeds which became great award winners like Negrita, Shirley, Make Up, Amsterdam, Jingle Bell, Pinocchio, wWhite Swallow, Ganders Rapsody and much much more.
